Tom Moore - Iowa Hawkeye (57-60)


Tom Moore was a quarterback for the Hawkeyes at the end of the decade in the 1950's. He immediately started coaching for the Hawkeyes as a Graduate Assistant during the 1961 & 1962 seasons. He then entered the Army for 2 years before returning to the coaching ranks at the University of Dayton in 1965. He held different jobs at Wake Forest, Georgia Tech and the University of Minnesota before entering the NFL coaching ranks. He has coached with the Steelers, the Vikings, the Lions and the Saints before being hired by the Indianapolis Colts. He was named Offensive Coordinator for the Colts in 1998 and has been there ever since. Today, his title is Senior Offensive Coordinator and he his in charge of one of the most prolific offenses in the league since he took over. He has been blessed with one of the best Quarterbacks to ever play the game in Peyton Manning. He has 32 years of coaching experience, with 22 as an Offensive Coordinator. He is one of only 23 NFL coaches to win a Super Bowl with more than one team. (Steelers, Colts)
