After being a dominating presence on the Hawkeye defensive line, Jared Devries finished his collegiate career with 3 First Team All-Big Ten selections and a 2nd Team All-American. He was selected 70th overall in the 3rd Round of the 1999 NFL Draft. It took him a couple years to make an impact but eventually became a starter in the 2006 season. He had a couple productive years but unfortunately tore his Achilles Tendon and was put on Injured Reserve for the 2009 season.
