Hodge lined up at Middle Linebacker while teamed up with Chad Greenway on the outside to form one of the most fearsome duos ever to play linebacker at the University of Iowa. He left the Hawkeyes as a 2x First Team All-Big Ten Linebacker and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 3rd Round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He was eventually released by the Packers after trying to come back from surgery on both knees. He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals to their practice squad in 2008 but was promoted to the full roster after Week 6 before ending up on Injured Reserve again. So far in 2009 he has played in every game and accumulated 12 tackles and a forced fumble through Week 16.
