Nate Kaeding – Iowa Hawkeye (00-03)

The Iowa City native, definitely left his mark for the Hawkeyes. He is currently the Iowa record holder for most points in a season, most points in a career, most Field Goals in a career, most consecutive Field Goals, most PAT's attempted in a season & a career, & most PAT's made in a season, in a career & consecutively. Needless to say, he deserved to win the Lou Groza Award in 2002 as the nation's best kicker. He also was a 2x All-American & a 2x First Team All-Big Ten. Kaeding followed that up by being selected 65th in the 3rd round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2007 and kicked a 21 yard game winner to give the AFC the win. His career long in the NFL is a 57 yarder against the Buccaneers in 2008. He is considered to be one of the most accurate in the league each year and during the 2009 season he became the NFL’s all-time accuracy leader, with his career accuracy of 87.0%. As of Week 16 he is 29-32 on Field Goals with a season long of 55 yards, and after having one blocked against the Raiders he is 48-49 on PAT's. In Week 15 he kicked the game winning 52 yard Field Goal to give the Chargers the victory over the Bengals.
