In the 2nd Round of the NFL Draft in 2002, the Washington Redskins selected Ladell Betts. One of the best running backs to play at Iowa, his career has not slowed down. He is the backup & 3rd down back for the Redskins this year, but because of an injury stepped into the starting role in Week 10. He did not disappoint with a 114 yards performance. Unfortunately in Week 11 against the Cowboys he was taken down awkwardly and tore his ACL & MCL to end his 2009 season. He finishes the year with 210 yards and 2 Touchdowns.
