Robert Gallery - Iowa Hawkeye (99-03)

After coming to the Hawkeyes as a Tight End, Gallery turned into a monster on the Offensive Line. He destroyed the competition on the college level and Gallery left the Hawkeyes as a 2x First Team All-Big Ten player, a First Team All-American and the winner of the Outland Trophy as the best Interior Lineman in 2003. Robert was selected with the second overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders. It seemed like a perfect fit for the behemoth with long hair and tattoos on the arms. Unfortunately, that was before the Raiders were realized as the train wreck that they are. After being moved across various different line positions early in his career, and having a new Offensive Line Coach each year, Gallery has found a home at Left Guard and performed well for the Raiders. So far in 2009, Gallery has struggled with injury after breaking his leg in week 2, but has returned to game action and started 6 games for the Raiders. Unfortunately he injured his back in the Week 13 game against the Steelers, and was placed on Injured Reserve to end his season.
