Paschal left Iowa ranked by some as one of the top 5 Free Safeties in the country. He unfortunately went undrafted but was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent. He was signed to their practice squad and was called up to play once an injury to fellow Hawkeye Sean Considine opened the door for him. He was out of football the following year and made it to the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts before the Baltimore Ravens signed him to their Practice Squad in November of 2009. He was activated to the full roster on Decemer 19th.
